Did you think George Bush was a dummy?

Editor’s note --  I have checked the facts on every assertion in this blog.  These facts are TRUE!  The editor has inserted links to other websites verifying the facts as correct.

Really, forget Democrat or Republican for a minute and think about this.   You Obama supporters, be honest now.   Read the following and tell me  how you would have reacted :

  • If George W. Bush had made a joke at the expense of the Special Olympics, would you have approved?
  • If George W. Bush had given [British Prime Minister] Gordon Brown a set of inexpensive and  incorrectly formatted DVDs, when Gordon Brown had given him a thoughtful and historically significant gift, would you have approved?
  • If George W. Bush had given the Queen of England an iPod containing videos of his speeches, would you have thought this embarrassingly narcissistic and tacky?
  • If George W. Bush had bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia, would you have approved?
  • If George W. Bush had visited Austria and made reference to he nonexistent "Austrian language," [instead of German] would you have brushed it off as a minor slip?
  • If George W. Bush had filled his cabinet and circle of advisers with people who cannot seem to keep current on their income taxes, would you have approved?
  • If George W. Bush had been so Spanish illiterate as to refer to “Cinco de Cuatro” in front of the Mexican ambassador when it was the fifth of May (Cinco de Mayo), and continued to flub it when he tried again, would you have winced in embarrassment?
  • If George W. Bush had misspelled the word advice would you have hammered him for it for years like Dan Quayle and potato as proof of what a dunce he is?
  • If George W. Bush had burned 9,000 gallons of jet fuel to go plant a single tree on Earth Day, would you have concluded he's a hypocrite?
  • If George W. Bush's administration had okayed Air Force One flying low over millions of people followed by a jet fighter in downtown Manhattan causing widespread panic, would you have wondered whether they actually get what happened on 9-11?
  • If George W. Bush had been the first President to need a TelePrompter installed to be able to get through a press conference, would you have laughed and said this is more proof of he is inept he is not on his own and is really controlled by smarter men behind the scenes?
  • If George W. Bush had failed to send relief aid to flood victims throughout the Midwest with more people killed or made homeless than in New Orleans, would you want it made into a major ongoing political issue with claims of racism and incompetence?
  • If George W. Bush had ordered the firing of the CEO of a major corporation, even though he had no constitutional authority to do so, would you have approved?
  • If George W. Bush had proposed to double the national debt, which had taken more than two centuries to accumulate, in one year, would you have approved?
  • If George W. Bush had reduced your retirement plan’s holdings of GM stock by 90% and give the unions a majority stake in GM, would you have approved?
  • If George W. Bush had spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to take Laura Bush to a play in NYC, would you have approved?

So, tell me again, what is it about Obama that makes him so brilliant and impressive?  Can't think of anything?  Don't worry. He's done all the above in just 5 months -- so be patient -- you've still got three years and seven months to come up with an answer. – author unknown

Why is there no outcry when Obama makes so many gaffes in five months?  The American public, taxpayers, and voters are being propagandized by the left-wing media.

After that Obama feeling stops sending a “tingling feeling” up the leg of the media, who will pay for Obama’s  naïveté?  Who will pay for the expanding national debt?  Who will fill the jobs driven to China and India by Obama’s energy policies?   Who will protect Israel when the North Koreans and Iranians get the bomb?

Who is going to hold this president accountable in the media?

Upside down day!

Friday, July 24.

What kind of day was it?

It was a day like any other day except YOU ARE THERE!

I couldn’t help using Walter Cronkite’s old line on the 1950’s TV series, You Are There.

This is UPSIDE DOWN DAY!  This is the day that Obama’s approval ratings turned UPSIDE DOWN!  He was riding astronomical approval figures a few weeks ago.  Today, he is UPSIDE DOWN!

The Rasmussen Poll has for the first time listed Obama’s approval ratings as only 49% approved and 51% disapprove.

Karl Rove on the Cavuto Show mentioned that Obama was “Upside down”.   Right Wing News has declared today as Upside Down Day.

Newt Gingrich on Cavuto says that Obama was way to liberal, spending way too much, and way too far to the left for the American people.

The American people have been ignoring the vast pro-Obama media and making decisions for themselves.  Sorry, ABC, CBS, and NBC.

Pelosi Melts Down at Press Conference

Breaking news!

U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Nanci Pelosi (D-Calif.) today melted down during her weekly live news conference.

The stammering and stuttering speaker attempted to explain her assertion that she was never told about water boarding during the Bush administration.  Subsequent documents have shown that Pelosi was at the briefings when Congress was informed.

In addition, Pelosi asserted that the CIA deliberately lied to Congress and called for a Truth Commission.

How soon will this press conference be on YouTube?   Stay tuned!

Today, in a OP-ED article in the Wall Street Journal, Bush advisor Karl Rove, called Pelosi a liar.

This blogger is waiting for the Pelosi news conference to make YouTube, and for O’Reilly’s body language expert to dissect Pelosi’s meltdown.

Meanwhile, the CIA is expected to push back via news leaks.  Fox News Channel analyst/reporter Catherine Herridge said that CIA insiders began calling news reporters saying that they are standing by their statements.  Herridge said she would expect that the CIA to begin leaking information to news agencies.

House Minority Leader John Boehner (R) said bring it a “truth commission”.  He spoke in a news conference following Pelosi’s meltdown    He cast doubt on Pelosi’s assertion that the CIA lied to Congress.

Pelosi and the Democrat leadership were well aware about the nature of these briefing, Boehner said.

Is Joe "Gaffe" Biden Telling the Truth?

Is Joe "Gaffe" Biden telling the Truth when he said he scolded Former President Geroge W. Bush in the Oval Office?

Biden, who is well-known for his gaffes, said he told Bush no one was following him as a leader. The assertion drew the ire of Republican strategist and long-time Bush aide Karl Rove.

Here is a excerpt from the Fox News Channel's web site.

"I hate to say this, but he's a serial exaggerator," Rove told FOX News. "If I was being unkind I would say liar. But it is a habit he ought to drop."

Biden a liar?

Rove added: "You should not exaggerate and lie like this when you are the Vice President of the United States."

This blogger believes Biden can easily prove his assertion. All "Gaffe" has to do is supply a date. Every meeting a sitting president has is recorded.

Biden's yarn continues ...

"I remember President Bush saying to me one time in the Oval Office," Biden began, "'Well, Joe,' he said, 'I'm a leader.' And I said: 'Mr. President, turn and around look behind you. No one is following.'"

The exchange is purely "fictional," said Rove, who was Bush's top political adviser in the White House.

"It didn't happen," Rove, a FOX News contributor and former Bush adviser, told Megyn Kelly in an interview taped for "On The Record." "It's his imagination; it's a made-up, fictional world.

"He ought to get out of it and get back to reality," Rove added. "He's making this up out of whole cloth."

Biden Ridiculed by Bush Aides

Rove's skepticism was echoed by a variety of other Bush aides, including former White House press secretary Ari Fleischer, chief of staff Andy Card and legislative liaison Candida Wolff.

They also disputed a similar assertion made by Biden in 2004, when the former senator from Delaware told scores of Democratic colleagues at a lunch that he had challenged Bush's moral certitude about the Iraq war during a private meeting in the Oval Office. Two years later, Biden repeated his story about dressing down the president.

"When I speak to the president - and I have had plenty of opportunity to be with the president, at least prior to the last election, a lot of hours alone with him. I mean, meaning me and his staff," Biden said on HBO's "Real Time with Bill Maher" in April 2006. "And the president will say things to me, and I'll literally turn to the president, say: 'Mr. President, how can you say that, knowing you don't know the facts?' And he'll look at me and he'll say - my word - he'll look at me and he'll say: 'My instincts.' He said: 'I have good instincts.' I said: 'Mr. President, your instincts aren't good enough.'"

Rove Challenged Biden's Assertion

On Thursday, Rove ridiculed the claim that Biden spent "a lot of hours alone with" Bush

"Joe Biden was never alone with the president for more than few moments," Rove said. "There was staff in the room the whole time."

Come on, Joe. Give us a date!

Joe has had problems with plagarism, too.
