No one knows really how many Czars the Obama Regime has brought into the White House.  We know some of them, and they are some very unsavory characters.  Take for instant, Van Jones, who had communist leanings and was a wacked-out 9/11 Truther.  That got him fired.

By all accounts, Valarie Jarret may have been the person that brought Czar Van Jones into the Obama’s regime’s Czar network.

Mark Lloyd is not on Beck’s list, but Michelle Malkin’s blog  lists him as the Media Diversity Czar.

Todd Stern, Climate Czar 

According to Beck’s web site:

• Served in the Clinton White House from 1993 to 1999; Was Head of the Initiative on Global Climate Change (1997 to 1999) and Adviser to the Secretary of the Treasury (1999 to 2001)
• As a top aide to President Clinton, helped negotiate the Kyoto and Buenos Aires climate pacts, both of which fell apart partially because of a lack of U.S. support during Bush administration.
• After Bush was elected to office, went to the Wilmer Hale law firm, where he is a partner in the regulatory and government affairs division.
• Was most recently a Senior Fellow at the Center for American Progress, where he focused on climate change and environmental issues.
• Has written extensively on climate change, and has called on the American government and the international community to take a series of steps to reduce the emission of greenhouse gases.
• Supports a national cap-and-trade system that would limit carbon emissions and reduce U.S. dependency on foreign oil

 
Border Czar Alan Bersin 

According to Beck’s web site, Alan Bersin:

• Talking about border security shortly before he was named Clinton border czar in 1995, said he wanted to focus on suspected smugglers of both drugs and people and was not interested in prosecuting “economic migrants.”
• Often tied to the 1994 border policy called “Operation Gatekeeper.” The policy shifted the U.S. focus from the arresting of immigrants who actually crossed the border to an increased border presence designed to stop border crossing in the first place. When Bersin left the position in 1998, border arrests were on pace for an 18-year low of just more than 200,000. Latino groups complained that Operation Gatekeeper was immoral, saying the program monitored the border near San Diego but simply forced illegal immigrants to other, more dangerous areas.
• Has given more than $50,000 to political campaigns since 1999, almost all of it to Democrats.

Jeffrey Crowley, AIDS Czar 

According to Beck’s web site, Crowley:

• Coordinates HIV/AIDS policy domestically and internationally.
• Senior Research Scholar at Georgetown University's Health Policy Institute and a Senior Scholar at the O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law, Georgetown University Law Center.
• Was Deputy Executive Director for Programs at the National Association of People with AIDS
• Has Master of Public Health from the Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health

Richard Holbrooke is the Afghan Czar

Glenn Beck’s web site says:

• Will work with CENTCOM head Gen. David Petraeus to integrate U.S. civilian and military efforts in the region.
• 45 years of experience have made him a fixture of the Democrats' foreign policy establishment.
• Was U.S. ambassador to U.N., 1999-2001
• Brokered the 1995 Dayton Peace Accords in Bosnia
• Also served as Assistant secretary of state, East Asia and the Pacific (1976 to 1980); worked in foreign service (1962 to 1976)
• From 1972 through 1976, was the editor of Foreign Policy magazine.

Czar Van Jones abdicated his “throne”

According to Beck’s web site:

Jones said, “I spent the next ten years of my life working with a lot of those people I met in jail, trying to be a revolutionary." In the months that followed, he let go of any lingering thoughts that he might fit in with the status quo. "I was a rowdy nationalist on April 28th, and then the verdicts came down on April 29th," he said. "By August, I was a communist." In 1994, the young activists formed a socialist collective, Standing Together to Organize a Revolutionary Movement, or STORM, which held study groups on the theories of Marx and Lenin and dreamed of a multiracial socialist utopia. Science Czar John Holdren holds some extreme views

According to Glenn Beck’s web site:

“Some conservative media outlets have called attention to a book Holdren co-authored in 1977 titled Ecoscience: Population, Resources, and Environment. The book reportedly includes this statement: "population-control laws, even including laws requiring compulsory abortion, could be sustained under the existing Constitution." Holdren's office says he "does not now and never has been an advocate of compulsory abortions or other repressive measures to limit fertility."

Urban Czar Adolfo Carrion

According to Beck, Carrion:

• Has undergraduate degree in world religions from Kings College; became an associate pastor at a Bronx church; earned his master’s degree in urban planning from Hunter College
• Was Bronx Borough President (2001-2009); President of the National Association of Latino Elected Officials (since 2007); City Council member (1998 to 2000)
• Many reporters say he has higher ambitions and will probably run for New York City mayor in the next ten years.
• Was an active campaigner for Obama, travelling across the country to speak on his behalf. He focused particularly on states with large Hispanic populations.
•  The NY Daily News reported numerous developers made tens of thousands of dollars in campaign donations to Carrión around the same time he was considering approving their projects in the Bronx.

Information Czar  Vivek Kundra

According to Beck’s web site, Kundra:

• Basically in charge of overseeing other federal agency CIOs and for setting technology policy across the government.
• Head of a federal technology budget that amounts to $71 billion annually
• Operation is housed in the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and will likely have authority to question how money in departmental technology budgets is used
• Formerly head of the District of Columbia's technology operations
• Shortly after he joined the OMB, federal authorities raided his old District government office. They arrested two technology office managers and a subcontractor, charging them with a bribery scheme that allegedly defrauded the city out of at least $500,000. Kundra was not a suspect in the case, the U.S. Attorney’s office said.
• Has a masters from Maryland in information technology.
• Experience: Washington, D.C. Chief Technology Officer (2007 to 2009); State of Virginia's Assistant Secretary of Commerce and Trade (2006 to 2007); CEO of computer security firm Creostar.

Describing the Obama Regime

We must be consistent on how we describe the Obama regime.

We must remember Google picks up these comments on blogs and even tweets and indexes them.  The more often a word or phrase is used, the higher Google and the other search engines with put weight on them. 

Here are some examples:

• It’s is the Obama Regime – not White House or D.C.   Example:  The Obama Regime was the laughing stock of the world for his failure to ….
• Use the words fail or failure generously when mentioning Obama.  Those words get picked up and associated.   Example:  He’s Obama,  the leader of the Obama Regime,  and he’s a failed president.
• Also use communism or socialism when mentioning Obama, his regime or his failed presidency.    Example:  The Obama regime’s venture into overt socialism and his association with avowed communists have contributed to the regime’s failure.
• Also the word “joker” should be used to associate with Obama.  Example: Not only is his picture plastered almost everywhere as a Joker on posters at the demonstration, but the Obama Regime’s failure to act on the economic crisis makes him a true joker.
• Another word to associate with Obama is narcissist.  Read this link.  Example:  The Obama Regime showed the narcissism of its leader today when members failed to show respect for the flag.

There may be more to the Obama Death-Stare.  According to one psychologist pathological narcissists display the following traits:

1. Sublimates aggression and holds grudges.
2. Behaves as an eternal adolescent (e.g., his choice of language, youthful image he projects, demands indulgence and feels entitled to special treatment, even though his objective accomplishments do not justify it).
3. Displays false modesty and unctuous "folksiness" but unable to sustain these behaviors (the persona, or mask) for long. It slips and the true Obama is revealed: haughty, aloof, distant, and disdainful of simple folk and their lives.
4. Has a messianic-cosmic vision of himself and his life and his "mission". Consequently, sets unrealistic goals within unrealistic timeframes.
5. Talks about himself in the 3rd person singular or uses the regal "we" and craves to be the exclusive center of attention, even adulation

Obama used the pronoun “I” 56 times in his 45-minute speech.

At this point, I still believe some form Obama-care will become law.  The Democrats have the votes.  They can ram it through.  Whether that benefits them in the long run is debatable.

Liberal Dynasty

But consider this: Obama-Care will be the Democrat’s flagship program like Social Security was 60 years ago.  No matter how bad it is; the liberal media will provide cover.  Democrats will tout their socialized medicine as the beginning of their socialist workers paradise. 

At every national election, Democrats will scare voters by claiming that if they (the Democrats) lose the election the medical coverage that voters depend on will end.   Of course, they will promise fixes and more funding in the healthcare system.  This link show what the British liberals say at election time.

Obama-care is not about health.  It’s about creating a socialist-Democrat dynasty in the United States!

Not Compatible With Open Borders

Free medical care and open borders are not compatible.   Illegal aliens from the Caribbean, Central American, and South America will stream into the U.S.  

The U.S. cannot fund a national health care system and a strong military.   This has been the case in Europe where our NATO allies have all but pulled the plug on their military machines.   There are hints that emaciating the military is one of the objectives of the socialists who support Obama-care.

Risky Lifestyles Will Cost Taxpayers

America is a nation of millions of people living risky lifestyles. Whether it is obesity, drug use, or promiscuous and deviant (and now legal) sexual activities, many of these Americans will need long-term medical care, paid for by the taxpayers who have lived non-risky life styles.

Many of  the people, who exercise their “First Amendment rights” and mark their bodies with hideous tattoos, may one day face the the consequences.  Hepatitis C and other viral diseases will require years and thousands of dollars of treatment.  LINK to the Mayo Clinic.

Here is what I see Obama-care will introduce:

• Abortions on demand will be paid for by public funding.   LINK
• Obama says illegal aliens will be denied Obama-care.  That’s may or may not be correct right now.  However, aliens can become eligible for medical care with a sweep of Obama’s hand through a presidential executive order or amnesty.  However, one research service believes that HR-3200 (The House Obama-care bill.) does not exclude illegal aliens.  LINK
• If amnesty is extended to illegal aliens, they will immediately sponsor into this country their extended families.  Estimates are that this will add another 120 million people eligible for HC into the U.S.  LINK
• The number of uninsured in the U.S. has been claimed to be as high as 94 million and as low as 47 million.  The actual number is far less, according to the census.   LINK to the Heritage Foundation. Link to image.
• Whatever the real number of uninsured is, it will create a shortage of doctors, nurses, and hospital space.  
• Cost of a socialized medicine is far under-estimated.  Even the Congressional Budget office confirms that the costs will be much much more than the Obama Regime claims. Link to CBO  LINK
• Access to medical care will be rationed or even denied if it is deemed to be too expensive.
• Elderly citizens, who believe now that they are entitled to healthcare, will be denied because their lives will be determined to be too expensive to maintain.   Rationing is the norm in the United Kingdom and every other nation where socialized medicine is.
• Cancer patients will not be denied health insurance, but costs and rationing will cause Obama-care to denied to them the newest medicines and treatments if it is too expensive or not authorized.  LINK
• Current Medicare users will be squeezed.  Obama-Care will cut $150 billion from Medicare Advantage.  LINK
• The Congressional Budget Office estimates that seniors will pay 20% more for drugs under Obama-care.  LINK
• Government sanctioned, doctor assisted suicide will become routine.
• Doctors who were enthusiastic about helping mankind will slowly become crushed and lose enthusiasm under the bureaucracy.  LINK
• One plan to provide health care for only the uninsured is bogus because those who have insurance will drop it to get “free” healthcare.  After all,  they will correctly reason that they are paying for it.
• Businesses who provide healthcare will be taxed to pay for those not on healthcare.  These business may choose to drop their HC and tell employees to jump to the public option.
• Many of those who are uninsured have chosen not to pay for health insurance for various reasons.  Some are wealthy and would pay for medical care out of pocket.  Those more affluent taxpayers will probably jump  in and out of the health care system, depending on their own wishes.

Look At Socialized Med In Canada, U.K.

No one knows the future, but we can look at countries where socialized medicine is used today. 

These health care systems are in chaos!  For example:

• Thirsty patients drink water from flower vases in the United Kingdom.  LINK
• U.K. mums give birth in toilets, corridors, elevators, and offices because there are no rooms.  LINK
• System-wide, the U.K. National Healthcare System (NHS) is short of qualified midwives.  There are almost no OB-GYN births in the U.K.  British mums get midwives, many from third-world countries.
• Some 1,000 deaths one year alone in NHS were caused by the superbug MRSA.  LINK
• Ants, cockroaches, rats cause infections in U.K. NHS hospitals and clinics.  LINK
• Filthy U.K. hospitals threatened with closure. LINK
• Patients become angry and frustrated over appallingly filthy hospitals.  One lady patient was so appalled that she cleaned up her own ward while plugged into an IV.  LINK
• Disillusioned nurses are sometimes cruel to patients.  LINK
• U.K. hospitals still have wards and open bays.  Space problems causes men and women to be put in the same wards!  This has been reported in the British press.  LINK
• Patient care is deplorable in some cases.  LINK LINK
• The Canadian HC system is about to implode.  This was reported on the Fox News Channel.  Canadians are crossing over the U.S. border to get HC. LINK LINK LINK

• If George W. Bush had burned 9,000 gallons of jet fuel to go plant a single tree on Earth Day, would you have concluded he's a hypocrite?
• If George W. Bush's administration had okayed Air Force One flying low over millions of people followed by a jet fighter in downtown Manhattan causing widespread panic, would you have wondered whether they actually get what happened on 9-11?
• If George W. Bush had been the first President to need a TelePrompter installed to be able to get through a press conference, would you have laughed and said this is more proof of he is inept he is not on his own and is really controlled by smarter men behind the scenes?
• If George W. Bush had failed to send relief aid to flood victims throughout the Midwest with more people killed or made homeless than in New Orleans, would you want it made into a major ongoing political issue with claims of racism and incompetence?
• If George W. Bush had ordered the firing of the CEO of a major corporation, even though he had no constitutional authority to do so, would you have approved?
• If George W. Bush had proposed to double the national debt, which had taken more than two centuries to accumulate, in one year, would you have approved?
• If George W. Bush had reduced your retirement plan’s holdings of GM stock by 90% and give the unions a majority stake in GM, would you have approved?
• If George W. Bush had spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to take Laura Bush to a play in NYC, would you have approved?

So, tell me again, what is it about Obama that makes him so brilliant and impressive?  Can't think of anything?  Don't worry. He's done all the above in just 5 months -- so be patient -- you've still got three years and seven months to come up with an answer. – author unknown

What kind of day was it?

It was a day like any other day except YOU ARE THERE!

I couldn’t help using Walter Cronkite’s old line on the 1950’s TV series, You Are There.

This is UPSIDE DOWN DAY!  This is the day that Obama’s approval ratings turned UPSIDE DOWN!  He was riding astronomical approval figures a few weeks ago.  Today, he is UPSIDE DOWN!

The Rasmussen Poll has for the first time listed Obama’s approval ratings as only 49% approved and 51% disapprove.

Karl Rove on the Cavuto Show mentioned that Obama was “Upside down”.   Right Wing News has declared today as Upside Down Day.

Newt Gingrich on Cavuto says that Obama was way to liberal, spending way too much, and way too far to the left for the American people.

The American people have been ignoring the vast pro-Obama media and making decisions for themselves.  Sorry, ABC, CBS, and NBC.

Anti-Obama-Care Demonstration in Dallas

I attended today an anti-Obama-Care demon-stration in Dallas.  I took the time to use my Nikon CoolPix 5000 to shoot some very shaky video.

Meanwhile, the gallop poll is reporting that a majority 50% of all Americans are against Obama-Care.  Not even Obama’s prime time speech could keep the White House from announcing that the vote on the House bill would be postponed until September.  That means that the vote will come after representatives come back to Washington for the annual summer break.

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports that Texas physicians have broken with the American Medical Association over Obama-Care.

The Associated Press reported that qualms about Obama-Care are growing.

Obama’s personal approvals ratings have fallen from 62% to 54% in the past month.  Karl Rove reported in the Wall Street Journal that Obama’s Health Care scheme is in trouble.

In an earlier blog, I felt that Obama-Care was a virtual done deal.  There was then little doubt that with a huge Democratic majority in the House, Obama would get what he wanted.  Now I still think it is better than 50-50, but not a done deal.

The only way this can be stopped is for 40 so-called Blue Dog Democrats to switch their votes.
